About Palau Guell
Gaudi's first major commission, completed in 1888 for industrialist Eusebi Guell. The palace pioneered parabolic arches and ornate chimneys that would define Gaudi's later work. The basement stables, music salon, and colourful rooftop chimneys all reveal the young architect's invention. UNESCO World Heritage. Less crowded than Sagrada Familia or Park Guell.
